I thought I could sneak a shower today. What was I thinking? My little precious had run out of marshmallows in his own bowl and took it upon himself to get some more. You know, it's a good thing I'm so in love with that kid . . .or he'd be long gone!!!
We apparently have lions in our stairwell. Every time Gav walks by the stairs he says, "No lions!!! No lions!!!". At first it was quite alarming--he was really scared to walk by alone. I suppose to a two year old it might be a little frightening. The stairs are dark and the railing looks something like a cage. That's England for you--old and dark. Ha! We continue to remind him that lions are only in the zoo, and not in our house. I think he's starting to get it. He now says (with confidence) "Nooooooo lions!" as he runs past with all his might.
Our friends told us about a mouse problem in their flat. They've already found a little rodent in their kitchen--which is three stories off the ground I might add. I'm scared to death we're going to have that problem in our place. Next week we move into a ground floor apartment. My mind is running wild with the creatures we're going to find in that place. What are my chances of finding some 'Cridder Ridder' here???

That's how I like to eat Lucky Charms, too. Except in our house they're called Magic Stars.
