Gavin is like a sponge. He learns something new every day. Today it was duck, duck, goose. We had a good friend of ours over (gotta give a shout-out to Danny-boy), and Spencer had just finished his FHE lesson about Jesus. It was time to play. What a sight to see three big grown-ups crouched on the floor in a circle while Gavin determines our fate. It was so funny to see him yell, "GOOSE" and run for his life. I don't think he quite got the concept . . .he just knew he was suppose to run. We spent most of the time chasing him into the kitchen and bringing him back to the circle. Maybe someday he'll get it.
I'd also like to mention that I am the Queen of Monopoly. It was looking pretty questionable at the beginning of the game, until I landed in Free Parking. Spencer had gotten a little, let's say, confident in his winnings, and had donated most of his earnings into the pot. Who would've thought that little ol' me would land on it. The game had a Southern feel to is as everyone was dropping phrases like, "I do believe" and "Bless his little heart". Good times, good times. We're sure going to miss "Unca Dan". He's like one of the family . . .
Okay it's late and I'm tired. Good night and good luck.

Blogs are fun... An easy way to catch up with people without actually talking to them... Not that I have an excuse for not having talked to you in so long... Anyway, I'll check back here often.
