This is my conversation with my mother today:
Me: So did you watch Idol last night?
Ma: Yep. Too bad that Danny went home.
Me: I TiVo'd it. I'll have to watch it today.
Ma: That K.D. Lang performed.
Me: Who?
Me: Who?
Ma: You know. K.D. Lang. That "I kissed a girl" singer.
Me: Katy Perry?
Me: Katy Perry?
Ma: Oh yeah, Katy Perry.
It was at that moment that I knew I should've gotten this for her for Mother's Day:

That was SOOO hilarious! I had to watch it over and over.
oh my gosh - I recorded it too and have been plugging my ears in public to refrain from having it all spoiled (ok not really). But, I'm glad it's spoiled. Danny was ok, but I'm sooo happy the other two made it through. excellent.
