We had such a fun weekend! Headed up to Mt. Evans on Saturday. And, with just our luck, so did about 200 other people. It happened to be the "Mt. Evans
Ascent". I truly felt bad as we drove past these poor people huffing and puffing up this 14,000 foot mountain. Yep, we felt pretty lazy. We did, however, hike to the summit. That was an adventure with both kids on our shoulders in the snow.
Gavin and Reese are climbers! They loved the hike and loved the lake where we had lunch. Gav was pretty sad we didn't go fishing but made up for it with the couple hundred rocks he threw in. The weather was awesome and we felt refreshed. Longs Peak, here we come!
