Well, we're home. Gavin and I have successfully made it to Germany and back. We had a fabulous trip/time with my family. Gav really loves his aunt and uncles. Not to mention Grandpa and Grandma. He hasn't stopped talking about them since we got back. In fact, he seems to have lost a little spring in his step . . . I think he's pretty lonely without his fun playmates. It was so fun to be my mom for a week. She sure is busy! Between school physicals, volleyball games and cross-country meets, and simply getting dinner together . . . I don't know how she does it!
Spencer spent some time at Loch Ness before he picked us up at the airport. He said it was the most beautiful place he's ever been and took some really awesome pictures. I only wish we could've seen the things he saw while he was there . . .

I am sorry, is that a monster in the background??
Shauna cooks? Better ask her how the first meal she ever cooked for Blaine and the family worked out. I still feel badly for telling her that there was a hair in the apple pie! She ran out of the room crying and saying that "now Blaine will never marry me!" Shauna, I apologize, but it was very funny! Sorry to make it at your expense, but you knew what I was when you met me!
Uh, Carl, I thought we all determined that you were losing so much of your hair at that time, it was one of YOURS in the pie, which btw, was coconut cream...no complaints from Blaine as he sits down to Baked Rigatoni for dinner tonight...
