Well. We moved. And not too early, either. If you hadn't see the news lately, Britain is in a MAJOR heat wave. The unbearable temps wouldn't seem so bad if we had any type of AC or even air flow. But for some crazy reason, Europe has no central air concept. So we moved from a fourth floor hot spot to a cooler than school basement. It's been great. We're totally shaded and yesterday I even had to wear my sweatshirt, it got so chilly. Fabulous. Nice and cool. One problem, though. Our internet connection is non-existent at the moment. It should be fixed by this coming week, but until then, we're without internet and vonage phone service. Two thumbs way down.
Which brings me to my next topic. We're on a weekend holiday to Wales. What a beauty this place is! We stopped by Caernarfon Castle and got a great family pic--with more to be added to the dixondetails website at a later time. Then we headed over to the ocean (once again) and Gavin got to play in the water. I swear, that kid can't get enough of the ocean. I think we've seen almost every coastline in England, but it doesn't matter. He gets so excited every time we get close. I love it. Hopefully he'll be a swimmer like his mama!
So we're headed to a few places tomorrow and then home. We had the greatest thunderstorm I've ever seen last night. It cooled things off a bit, but our hotel room is once again on the fourth floor. Drag. Hot. And can I just say that the Welsh language is the weirdest language ever. I haven't seen anything like it before. Amazing.
Lloniannau chan Cymru. Fi ll blog ail pryd fi ve got Rhyngrwyd chyfundeb.
Cheers from Wales. I'll blog when I have the internet again. (Crazy, huh???)
Cheers!
