Since you've been gone.
So my kid likes Kelly Clarkson. So what?
Gavin has hit the "I like to sing at any time and at any place stage". Today we went to the Lake District and as we were on the ferry home, it began pouring rain. Little Gav was so inspired, that he began singing "Itsy bitsy spider" over and over and over and over. Everyone thought it was pretty funny. But I was ready to kill that spider by the tenth chorus. It's not uncommon for him to break into his favorite Kelly song, which, as a result, gets stuck in my own (and anyone who is familiar with it) head. "Book of Mormon Stories" is also a favorite. As well as "Twinkle, Twinkle". I put him down tonight and heard him singing "I love to see the Temple". Does this mean he's destined for a musical future? I hope so.
Speaking of spiders . . .we always have a hard time getting Gavin out of the bath at night. He just loves it so much. Spencer will drain the tub and even fan the kid and he still doesn't want to get out. Until last night . . .the tub was empty and Gav was trying to prolong getting out as long as possible, as usual. Then, out of the over-flow drain, climbs a huge daddy long-legs. That kid was out in two seconds, flat. I now have a new look on those disgusting creatures. Spiders. Friend or Foe?
My smart husband found a wireless signal in our apartment . . . We can all thank him for the blog this evening. Our internet is set to start working on August 2nd. Duh.
