Happy Father's Day!

We sure love dads at our place! The day began with the building of a "fork". I just love to watch Spencer and Gavin pal around together. They are such cuties and it's fun that Gav is getting to the age where playing is such an adventure. One of his favorite games is hide n' seek. Such a classic sight--him concentrating so hard on having his eyes closed and counting to ten with his fingers as though he can see the cars he's counted so many times before. Once he reaches ten, his eyes open and he shouts, "Ready or not, here I come!" and bolts down the hall looking for Spencer. I love every moment.

Today was a swimming day. I'm drowning (no pun intended) in laundry and Spencer took the car so we're stuck at home. So I threw a load in and filled up the little blue pool. That little treasure was left here when we moved in . . .I think the previous owners thought they were doing us a dis-service. Little do they know, we've used it about a hundred times! It's just Gavin's size and I'm able to catch some sun. Everyone's happy! We found a ladybug today. As it crawled up Gav's arm . . .I wasn't sure if he was going to scream or laugh. He is so fascinated with bugs. I killed a spider in our house earlier today and I think I scarred Gavin for life. He's keeps talking about the "huuuuuuuge spider!". He helped me flush it down the potty and I'm afraid the next time I want him to sit on it we're going to have problems. We'll see I guess.

I think that's all for today.
