Dear Spencer,
Here we are. Day two. And I'll tell you what. Life without you is tough! It sure helps that our boys can feed/put shoes on/sleep by themselves. But still.
This stinks!
{I know things sounded hectic when you called tonight. Sorry about all the screaming. It really hasn't been bad at all.}

Since you're away, I figured you'd like a picture walk through our day. Here goes.
First.
I think we may need to turn on the heater. It was quite chilly this morning.
I mean.
Really.

Next.
We had an adventure at the museum this morning. We ran with dinosaurs, lifted anacondas, and took a walk through space.
I'm pretty sure Gavin's favorite was the rock mine.
It was, like, totally awesome.
Annnnd I'm pretty sure he wants to be a geologist now.
{Grandpa Clark must be so proud!}
I'm also pretty sure that the mummy spooked/grossed out the kiddos for good.
I tried to convince them it was fun for Halloween.
They didn't buy it.
We stopped for lunch, and then headed to the gift shop.
That's where Grandma bought them both a bag of rocks to take home.

So when you find a rock the color of bubblegum, you'll understand.
We got boo'd this afternoon.
I swear, I've never seen the boys so excited.
They can hardly wait to "get" someone tomorrow.
Or maybe I can talk them into waiting until you get home.
Because, really, it's only two more days.
Holy crap, I just got a butterfly in my stomach.
Hurry up already!
I finally cut that giant zucchini your mom gave us.
It made 4, I repeat, FOUR loaves of bread.
Holy crud.
We'll be having bread for every meal from now until Thanksgiving.
So . . .hope you're hungry!
{I did, however, give one loaf to Andrew/Conner's mom and will give one to the neighbors for letting me use their bread pans. But still! Two giant loaves left!}
And finally.
Reese really misses you.
I mean.
A lot.
So much that he couldn't sleep last night.
So.
I gave him a picture of you to get him through the night.
I'm pretty sure that made it worse.
And I'd like to add that the picture went with us to the museum,
and outside to play,
and to Albertsons this afternoon.
Hurry home.
For his sake.
We sure love you.
And miss you lots.
It's kinda boring around here without you.
Can't.wait.until.Thursday.
J, G and R
