So.
Monday is the day.
Wait.
Let me back up.
Never in my life had I heard of a Modern Day Pioneer Trek.
I mean.
Sure I heard about the Pioneers.
But kids doing it these days?
Never crossed my mind.
Until I moved here.
"This summer is the Trek!"
I'd hear people shout.
I guess it only happens every four years.
So I did what every Young Women President in the Arapahoe Stake did.
I went to the fireside where they explained The Trek.
It's a 20 mile walk over 3 days.
Camping.
Crossing rivers.
Pulling handcarts.
All of which I don't do.
I put my name on the list to go anyway.
And didn't so much tell Spencer.
I was #63 on the list.
Why worry?
Well.
Guess who's going?
Yep.
These guys.
Yep. Spence will be wearing that hat.
Wish us luck.
I have a feeling we're going to need a lot of it.

ha ha! You guys will have a blast! Seriously, I think you'll have so much fun. I'm helping a friend of mine make her pioneer clothes for the trek over here. I had never heard of it either until just the past few years.
