the torch is lit in Athens by the sun?
And it's taken all across the world, only to be extinguished when the Olympics are over.
Even under water once!
And did you know that the torch symbolizes harmony and unity?
The torch is the YW symbol . . .
Pretty ironic, if you ask me.
