It's been almost a year.
To the date.
Photobucket

I was in New Mexico,
hanging out with my family.

When I got a phone call.

I was being released from my Relief Society calling.
Which, at the time, was a bit of a shock.

I called Andrea.
She was my mentor.
She was the President.
She was my friend.

"Did they tell you why we got released?"
she asked.

Turns out her husband had a big secret.

A secret that he had been hiding from
her,
their friends,
their family.

And with that one secret, her whole world was turned upside-down.

A lot has happened in a year.

A divorce.
A move.
A new life.

Yesterday I got a phone call from my friend.

"I've decided to write my story."

A smile came to my face.
Andrea is one of the strongest women I know.

Quite a "lemons to lemonade" type person.

And now she's ready.

Ready to tell her side of the story.
And what a story it is!

She asked me to link to her blog.
You bet I will.

So subscribe.
Read along.
Make a new friend.

And be inspired.

WOW! What a devastating thing to have happen to your friend! I can't imagine being married to someone and having them do something that deceptive! I am interested to read more about it on her blog. Very, very sad!

Thanks Jordon for sharing this! It was hard to be so far away from our Colorado friends when we heard the news. Andrea is amazing.
