Gavin checked out his first library book. He was so excited to show us all that it was a book about trains. He even showed us the ticket on the inside cover that reads "Wednesday" to remind him to return it next week. Sam fell down on the playground and got a bloody knee. Gav declared Damian as his best friend for today (yes, the one that had to go the Principles Office last week . . .) and he said that he played with Tyson and Aidan at recess. His class gets a pizza party on Friday for turning in the most $30 donations (I guess we're not the only ones that don't want to do any fundraisers this year!).
Reese had a very successful potty day. Not one accident. And even went you-know-what without much fuss (Other reader's side note: Which is gross, I know. But remember, this letter is for Spencer. And he does care about that kind of stuff. So. Sorry.) He took a nice long nap this afternoon and sang "I am a Child of God" to Diane. She loved it. He had chips for lunch and has had cookie dough for a snack this afternoon. Score. We read "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" four times and is now outside trying to get the oil off the street with Adam.
I'm on my last batch of cookies . . .you know . . .it's "Celebration Day" at swim lessons. Oh yes, after tonight, we'll finally have our nights back. Well. Er. Sorta. I'll still have that Mutual thing on Thursdays, of course . . . but we can do one night a week, right? Today has been full of laundry. I'm working out a new system for laundry. I'm hoping it makes our home a little more tidy on laundry day. We'll see. I also finished with my Young Women's picture project for the Bishop. And read some more Animal Farm. And went to lunch with Michelle. And started to plan YW in Excellence. I'll try my darnest to stay awake until you come home, but that 4:30am mishap with Reese is beginning to catch up to me . . .
Hurry home.
We miss you.
I love you.
