So you may be wondering why I haven't posted much about my new calling . . .

{This is me. As a senior in high school. The guy? Peter. And he was a jerk.}
{Just ask my dad.}

It may be because I feel that if I think about it too much more . . .my head may explode.

It may be because between swimming lessons, work, mutual, family time . . .I have a hard time focusing anymore.

It may be because I feel so overwhelmed with the awesomeness of the people that I'm surrounded by all the time . . .I don't quite know what to say.

But I do know this:
THIS MAY BE THE BEST CALLING IN THE HISTORY OF CALLINGS.

That's right you Relief Society people.
I'm talking to you . . .

I am seriously amazed at the strength/friendship/accepting personalities of these girls.

They love everyone.
They smile all the time.
They know who they are.

At 15 and 16!

I know.

It's impressive.

And don't get me started on the leaders . . .
Gees.

When I got called my bishop said to me:
{And I'm lucky I even heard this because I think I was still in utter shock}
"Jordan, be sure to pick great counselors. These girls need some strong women in the lives right now."

No pressure.

Believe me when I tell you.

I got some good ones.

Strong.
Humble.
Educated.
Dedicated.
Loving.

Now if I could just find MY place in it all . . .
I'm still working on that.

Didn't your mom have that calling too? Like mother like daughter. :) You were always one of those laurels I looked up to. :) You'll do great!
