A few nights ago I worked late.
When I got home, my sweet Spencer had a surprise.
He's good at that.
I followed the rose petal path through the kitchen,
up the stairs,
down the hallway,
and to our room.
There waited a dozen roses.

It was like something out of a movie . . .
Really.
*sigh*

This, however, is not the purpose of this blog.
Even though I do enjoy talking about my romantic hubby . . .
Spencer informed me that I was not the only person to see the path of rose petals.
Our curious four year old wanted in on the fun.

(is that a word? Yes, I think it is)
came out of his room to check out the trail.
He thought for sure it would lead him to an awesome treasure.
Imagine the disappointment.
Purpose of this long winded blog:
Gav's totally into making trails now.

And yes, I'm glad that's over . . .
Thanks to all my little elves . . . couldn't have done it without you . . .
