So. Saw Dark Knight last night . . .again. Liked it more the second time, and probably because I didn't have to ask Spencer what was going on for the first half of the movie. Seriously. Still think that Christian Bale is amazingly hot. He's come a long way from Newsies and Empire of the Sun. I loved him back then and I was 12.And, no, Logan did not change my opinion when she said, very 16 year old-ish, "Ew, he's, like, so old."
*Sigh*
And for some reason, I was more bothered this time by Heath's stellar performance. Maybe it's because I realized he's dead now. Maybe it's because he's too freakishly good. And it scared me. Bad. I can still see him licking those disgusting lips that cover those lemonheady teeth. I just got goosebumps. Serious.
So all in all. Good night. Hung with the sibs (more on that fabulous weekend later). Got the tickets for $free.99. And realized that this is the last time I'll see a movie with my cute kid brother for two freaking years. Yeah, definitely a good night.

We just saw it for the first time last weekend. It was awesome. I was kind of lost too... but Aaron gets bugged when I ask him what's going on. So I had to make up my own theories :)
Wow Jordan. Zack and I just went to this a couple weekends ago. I could not wrap my mind around the joker being played by Heath Ledger. There were only maybe two times the whole movie I saw him in the character. Unbelievable performance. Also, I couldn't shake the "creepy" feeling when I got home and I checked on Eli like 15 times during the night. Eeeeek.
I think I fell for Christian Bale in Little Women. What a hottie!
That is one freaky performance! I can't say that I loved it because why would I love to be terrified?! but, I do think it was an excelent movie! But, like you, I was cringing through the whole thing!
i couldn't help it. i was so tired. the astros game took it out of me. but thanks for everything again. that was so much fun.
I'm sorry, I didn't like this movie. I still have nightmares of the Joker. Have you seen Death Race? If not, don't see it. I hated it much more than the Dark Night. They are just so dang dark! (Hence dark in the title.) I like light hearted movies. Like the one I saw this weekend, Everybody Wants to be Italian. Yep, super slow. But I left happy...and that's all that matters! :)
1. The movie as a whole creeped me out.
2. I will ALWAYS love Christian Bale. Newsies as a tweenager does that to a girl.
3. I was AMAZED by Heath Ledger's performance. Possibly one of the most amazing acting jobs I have ever seen in my life.
