Yeah. He's pretty amazing. I sat on the couch with my jaw on the floor as I watched his beautiful butterfly. This guy was made to swim the 400 IM. A new World record with his very first race. Amazing. I can hardly wait to see what he pulls out today . . .
And while we're on the subject. Poor Katie Hoff. I really thought she would pull it out in the last second . . . although a bronze ain't bad to add to trophy case. And she's only 19. And she rocks. And I'm jealous.

Those were two great races to watch. What about the IM medley with Torres anchoring for those of us in the 'older' set? Wow. Silver.

I love the great Mom relationship MP has.

Yea Todd is too! Thus he is in the T.V. room and I'm on the computer! I loved the opening cerimonies! I was crying almost the whole time. You could just feel their hope lifted! Don't you think?

We're obsessed too Jordan! I've even made gyros and bakliva in celebration of the start of olympics. (first ones were in Athens...I realize they're in China this year;). Mr. Phelps is impressive, I just always feel bad for his best friend...

Ummm...HELLO! The guy is part dolphin! What fun it is to watch him swim! Now I know how guys feel when they are watching sporting events and screaming at the tv while on the edge of their seats!

sidenote: I overheard Rylee telling one of the kids that all I like to watch now is the "swimming movie". Heck yea I do!

yeah, I'm pretty obsessed too...thus the cleaning in the house has dramatically fallen by the wayside. Good thing most of the live stuff happens at night for us!
