Oh my goodness YES! It's a joke (and I really do not like the corkscrew light bulbs...they are terrible!).

You are funny!! The environment is the flavor of the day.

What ever happened to Bird Flu, the Ozone layer, or Mad Cow?

Al Gore, I curse you...

Sorry, i really didn't mean for that to go 3 times. I wasn't trying to make a point, I promise!

I love how places have organic clothes to buy that are like $100 for a t-shirt. Give me a break!

This, plus all the paranoia that everything causes cancer nowadays (baby bottles and sippy cups, people!) makes me nuts! Give me a friggin' break! Glad you're in the same camp as me.

oh man. i guess i'm the only one. yeah. i'm huge into sustainability.

but let me just say one thing:

i spent $60 and replaced ALL of the lightbulbs in my house to the spiral, low-wattage kind. every 100 watt bulb only uses 23 watts and gives off the same amount of light.

i made my lousy $60 back after 2 months and we've been saving money (and even better, electricity) ever since.

there.

i'll get down off my green pedistal now. sorry.

i'm all for saving the environment, although I'll admit to being downright lazy sometimes and not wanting to do it if it is inconvenient. My favorite thing about going green is the ridiculous baby clothes they've now come out with. Best one I've seen so far? Old Navy's organic baby creeper with the words "I run on natural gas."
