I-25 and Colorado.

So we're looking for a car. Gag. Imagine my joy when Spencer told me that we needed to go to I-25 and Colorado to see one. That intersection means one thing to me . . .SEES OUTLET. As we pulled into the parking lot, I was reminded of the past few experiences here.

The first was with my mom when she was visiting us from Germany right after Reese was born. We stood in line behind a particularly interesting woman. Picture this if you will: Missing five teeth. Rats nest hair. Blue sweats COVERED in some sort of animal hair. And purchasing $40 worth of chocolate. Hmm.

The second time was with my friend, Karen . The woman behind the counter had hair that reminded me of purple mountain majesties. I remembered thinking, "Was that the intended color?".

And then, Saturday. We walked in and there stood a little person. I could just see Gavin saying something totally inappropriate and so I had Spencer on the job of distraction.

So what's the deal? Are we just lucky, or what?

Saturday. Minus one Bordeaux.
Sunday. Don't worry. I finished those three off this morning.

There's a See's outlet around here!?!?!?!? I had no idea! Is that up in Denver or down closer to my way...cuz I LOVE See's and haven't had any in FOREVER! Yum!

One of 2 left in Colorado, and you alone should be able to keep at least that one in business.

You've reminded me of those close out 25 cent Russell Stover eggs I have hidden in my closet.

Gotta go

Oh See's...oh chocolate...one of my many vices...love it!!

Also, LOVED that lady's crazy purple hair. Ha ha. I need to travel with you more often so I can meet more "interesting" people.

Wait. A Sees outlet. I don't get it. An outlet has last seasons or older things that didn't sell as well at the real store. How old are these chocolates?...and there really isn't a Sees in every mall?

It really is all about the dark chocolate, but I am a live and let live chocolate lover.

Brooke--it's more towards Denver. Map it if you're ever in the area (and call me!!!). It's worth the trip.

Court--I don't know why they call it an outlet . . .I think it's b/c they offer fundraising and corporate discounts and stuff. And the only one that was in a mall anywhere around her closed about four years ago. The saddest day on earth.

The outlet by the factory in Sunset (outside of San Francisco) sells chocolates that aren't pretty or get messed up. BUT I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS ONE IN DENVER! Actually SLC just opened another one down on 123rd S. Mormons and chocolate..what more can i say?
