Ain't no sunshine when he's gone.

This will be quick. I took the boys on a drive this afternoon. Neither of them were sleeping, and I knew that a few minutes of silence in the car would do the trick. Well, guess who wasn't AT ALL silent. Yep, you guessed it. My three year old who thinks his voice is "just that loud". Reese was just about to drift when Gavin shouted something crazy causing his brothers eyes to become as saucers. At just about breaking point I said, "Gavin if you don't hush, I'm going to pull over and leave you on the side of the road!!!". To that he said, "But mom, you would die me. And then I'd be in heaven. And you would really miss me, wouldn't you???".

Okay you got me. I would miss you WAY too much.

Don't you want to kill and love your kids at the same time. They always know just what to say at just the right time.

Wow, it blows my mind how much kids know the exact button to push!

Also-many of us want to know the brand of the heavenly tortillas from your Costco blog...That sounds really good!

Funny. Amanda asked me today what strangers do to kids when they take them. Yikes! She's been warned enough against strangers, so an honest question... I said, well, they might hurt them. SHe then asked, "But what else???"

Sheesh!
