So tonight for Family Home Evening we wrote letters to Santa. This was a new experience at our house. We went through the whole story starting with how the good boys and girls get presents. Gav's eyes were as big as saucers when we told him about the story of Rudolph and how Santa comes down our chimney. It's like he wasn't quite getting it. Then we showed him this:
I could see the fire in his eyes. He got it. This generation is such a visual one . . .
Also. He told Santa that he wanted a big silver helicopter that "is a transformer". Wha??? How the heck does he even know about Transformers??? We've never seen it and there aren't any commercials on the channels he watches (PBS and Playhouse Disney). His circle of friends are a bunch of three year olds. It's a mystery. Seriously. I can't figure it out.

That is so funny. Carsen always comes up with the wierdest things and I have no idea where he gets them. I just have to laugh...PBS and Playhouse Disney are the only channels Carsen watches as well. Good luck with your silver helicopter/transformer.
He must be talking to Todd, because he is a little obsessed with Transformers. He'll probably come over and play if Gavin gets that for Christmas.
Ha! Kids are the best aren't they?
I love this. Nice video too! Good job digging that up!
