So Gav and I went to the library yesterday and we found this book. I was amazed as I read it this morning. Did you know that "big dinosaurs gulped down stones as they ate. The stones stayed in the gut, helping the stomach muscles grind leaves and twigs into a soft, sticky stew of plants. The dinosaur could digest this stew more easily". You don't say. The biggest long neck, a Barosaurus, measured in at 95 feet long. An elephant is merely 13 feet long. Amazing. So there you go. I guess I need to go back to the 5th grade, because this stuff is incredible.

We just recently aquired a book about space, planets, constellations, and what have you. Well, I must have forgotten a lot because I think Wes knows more about it now than I do. Did you know that pluto was kicked out of rank of planets? So instead of 9, now there are only 8! I really do feel like I am re-learning things because of the kids. It's pretty sad that I forgot, though.
I love the "Best Book of..." series. All of the books are fantastic like this. I have a few of them that I love. They come in the book orders fairly frequently too for about $4. Glad to know you're learning lots!
That is some interesting info! I need to start reading up before Savannah is old enough to start out schooling me on stuff! HA HA HA
