


We thought this storm would miss us like they all do. We live far enough east that we usually see the dark clouds but don't get any of the weather associated with them. Were we wrong! This one hit us, and hit us hard. At one point Spencer and I had to practically yell at each other (in our living room) just to hear each other. The hail beat on our windows so hard, I was sure we were going to have to replace a few. And our side lot is so flooded, we're thinking about calling
FEMA. Thank goodness I waited to get my
Dianthus plants in pots . . .

Wow! You guys have had a pretty weird bunch of weather. You should have been down in that nice, padded basement for that! Scary.
That is just what I was thinking...take Toto and Auntie Em to the basement, for pete's sake!
