A few things happened yesterday that are blog worthy. Here they are:
1. We went to the Denver Museum of Natural History. Gavin was in heaven. He's been on this dinosaur kick lately and I thought it would be appropriate to take him to see the dino bones. He loved it. And he also loved learning about the animals around the world. Every now and then, however, he would turn to me with a worried look in his eye and say, "Are those _______ just pretend, mom?".
2. We got a package from Grandma Kemsley for Easter. In it were some tiny dinosaurs that you put in water and they grow. Gavin was so excited to use them. So I put them in a small metal bowl and put them on our kitchen chair for him to watch. He was so enthusiastic (for any of you that know Gavin, you know that when he gets excited, he really gets excited). He was climbing all over the chair and it finally fell on top of him. I was feeding Reese at the time and watch the whole thing happen. Almost in slow motion. The bowl of water spilled right in his face and got him totally soaked. He had that "I'm drowning" look that really worried me more than anything. I couldn't get to him fast enough it seemed. I didn't even notice the gash above his eye. I grabbed a towel and wrapped my dripping child and tried to get him to calm down. That's when I noticed the cut. The first thought that went through my mind was that we were going to have to go the Emergency Room (AGAIN!!!). We moved to the couch where Reese was fussing about only getting to eat for two minutes. The reality of having two kids really set in . . . Thank goodness Spencer walked in and saved the day! After evaluating the injury, we decided to bag the ER. We're expecting a pretty good scar . . .
3. THE BEST OFFICE EPISODE OF ALL TIME. Who would've thought Dwight would be the hero? Love that Jim caught Dwangela. Classic. Love the way Michael asked for a15% raise and didn't get it when Jan would only give him 12. Love the fights between Kelly and Ryan and Toby's awkward face. Loved how Angela wanted to hear every one's story about Dwight. Seriously. I was entertained for the whole 40 minutes.
The End.

Why do I feel that I caused this from 8,000 miles away?! I knew those dinosaurs were trouble! I'm so sorry. Give Gav a hug and kiss from us.
The Office still goes on...too funny.
This TOTALLY was not your fault! Do not feel that way! Gavin is so accident prone right now. If it's not one thing it's another . . .
Wow, wow, wow.
Ok, I know this is shallow, but how did you get 40 minutes of The Office? Kiss Gavin better for us.
