Every spring we get robin's in our backyard. Last year we started putting out pieces of bread and crackers for them so Gavin could "have breakfast" with them. We've gotten more than usual this year and now I'm understanding why. Today when Gav was playing outside he came running in saying, "Mom, there's a nest out there!". So I went out and sure enough, a robin's nest was on our house. It's too high to even put a ladder up there, but Gavin sure is excited to see some baby birds!

That Mommy bird is going to really have to duck to sit on that nest. Looks like a pretty safe place though. I thought Robins ate insects, do they eat bread too?
