A night with the stars . . .

Tonight was our Young Women's New Beginnings. We decided to do a "Hollywood" theme. It was fabulous. The girls (and the leaders) got a chance to really dress up and have a great time. We had a red carpet with escorts and photographers. We had awards. We even had Shirley Temples served in champagne glasses. I was super excited because I don't get to get all dolled up very often. But I came to the realization of two things tonight. First: No matter how glamorous I look, I'm still nine months pregnant. Somehow that water weight doesn't go away with lots of make-up. And second: I think I've missed my calling in life by not being a hair dresser. I have this weird passion for it. In fact, I almost had more fun doing my hair tonight than at the actual event. Wow, that's pretty pathetic. Anywho. Fantastic night and probably the last time I'll paint my fingernails red . . .

So fun! You look darling. Hope you had a good time. This is probably your last hurrah before the baby comes. Wow. Maybe cosmotology school is in your future...
