It's the most wonderful time of the year!

TODAY'S FORECAST:A MAJOR BLIZZARD IS CREATING NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TRAVEL CONDITIONS TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A BLIZZARD WARNING is in effect until Noon Thursday for the Denver-Boulder-Ft.Collins areas, all of Northeastern Colorado, Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Southeastern Wyoming and Western Nebraska. Snowfall of 18-24" will occur in the warning areas with winds N @ 15-45 mph causing limited visibility and drifting snow.

Spencer drove to work today at 7 and his office closed at 11:15. So he began his trek home. I started to worry when at 12:30 he still wasn't home (his office is about 20 mins away). Gavin and I stood by the window looking up the street, hoping his car would turn that corner. Instead, Spencer, on foot, comes running up the street. I couldn't help but laugh as he is tries to get through this snow that is up to his knees. I meet him at the door and he has icicles hanging from his hair. He was totally soaked. He told me that on his way home he couldn't make it up a hill about a mile away and was forced to abandon the car and walk home. He didn't have the cell so he couldn't call me--I'm not sure I could've helped him anyway. After watching the news tonight, I think that a lot of people did what Spencer did. There are cars all over the streets without drivers. Hopefully no one hits it in the next few days until we can dig out of our house and get it. I think we'll have a white Christmas after all!!!

Wow, that is crazy! Glad he made it safe and sound. Anywhere sounds like it's having better weather than you! Although, a white Christmas is nice...
