Well, friends. After two full weeks.
He's finally home.
Boy.
Did we miss him!
The first words out of his mouth were: "We need a vacation." I couldn't agree more. We really needed some family time. But there were a few problems: No time. No money. No plans. Well. That was all about to change.
We realized it was Gavin's Spring Break. Time: Check. Spencer's been stashing some money for months now (surprise!) for an occasion such as this. Money: Check. My only stipulation: Our destination has to be warmer than Denver. We booked a hotel in California. Plans: Check. And really. Everything after that just fell into place. Plane tickets . (thanks T!) Rental Car. Hotel. We flew in this morning. And hit the beach. Stat. It was foggy and cold. But, oh so fun!
We played. And got wet. And ended up neked on the drive home. (Well. Almost.) 
Tomorrow: The Happiest Place on Earth.

There is nothing like having daddy home. Glad you made it through the two weeks. Whew! That is a long time! How wonderful that everything worked out to have a little vacay together! Have an awesome time!

In 'N Out-- classic. All the people from California rave about it, and they ended building one in Orem. Glad you guys got a vacation together!
