You know.
I like to think that we encourage our children to be well rounded.
Boy AND girl friends.
Blueberries AND artichokes.
Bikes AND scooters.
So I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when Gavin showed me the books he got from the library this week.
I should be proud, right?

And.
Have you ever mixed the words Break and RE(a)ST?
As in
"Do you need a break/rest?"
Yeah.
I did today.
In front of a 7 year old girl.

I wonder if her mom will ever let her walk home with me again.

huh? break rest? I don't get it.
Oh, those Freudian slips are the worst! It's funny and frustrating at the same. Like you already started saying one word and then realized a different word gets your meaning across clearer, but instead of stopping and starting over again you get some weird, and funny, (or embarrassing) combinations!
I do that all the time. You're not alone. :)
