Modern Day Mommy Dilemma
#483
Crayon in the pocket.
This one is hard on so many levels.
Not only are his shorts orange.
But that was his favorite crayon.
How do you say crayon?
Cr-an?
Cra-yawn?
So.
What's a mother to do?
Replace the irreplaceable crayon?
Oxyclean the crud outta those pants?
So.
What's a mother to do?
Replace the irreplaceable crayon?
Oxyclean the crud outta those pants?
Life is so hard sometimes, isn't it?

Here's what always worked for me, THROW THE PANTS AWAY:)
Here's the thing. He's worn those shorts TWICE. I can't bear throwing them out. Especially since they are big enough for next year too.
I did this to my mom too. Iron the pants with a paper bag on them to pull any excess wax out of them. Then spray them with WD40 and work it in really well. Wash them, but don't put them in the dryer yet. Then, if there's a greasy stain, put a little bit of Dawn dish soap on it and work it in with a tooth brush. Rinse, wash again, and dry. You should be clear!
