I'm tired.
Maybe it's because every night one/both of my children come into my room.
And maybe when they wake me up, I realize I have to use the bathroom.
And maybe I've become a pro at going in the dark.
Until last Friday when we had some friends over.
She mentioned that she saw a 5 and a half foot bull snake trying to cross a busy intersection by Gavin's school.
Which is, like, 1/2 a mile from our house.
5.AND.A.HALF.FEET!
Are you kidding me???
"And the crossing guard "helped" it into the sewer gutter.
And since I've heard that story.
Maybe I can't go the bathroom in the dark anymore.
Which means when I do go, my eyes are adjusted to the light.
Which means I lay in bed for hours trying to get back asleep.
Maybe that's why I'm so tired.
I'm just saying.

Yikes! Your sewer is my sewer! And now I can't go in the dark anymore, either... :)
Oh man....remind me to tell the story about a friend and a 23ft. snake that she didn't know was living in her wall. Let's just say...she couldn't see so well in the dark!
i'm tired too...
Here's what I do, I have a nightlight for my bathroom. That way when I get up one of the 3 times a night to use the bathroom, I just switch on that little light. Dim enough to not wake me up, bright enough to help me take care of business.
