So our friends hooked us up with some pretty sweet Rockies tickets for last Wednesday night's game (thanks again AC!!!). We were pretty stoked when our tickets read "Section 138 Row 6". Six rows up, that ain't bad . . . Well no one told us that the sixth row up in section 138 is actually two rows back from the visitors dugout! It was awesome. We even had the "Super Rockies Fan" or "Super Diamondback Hater" sitting right behind us. So that pretty much blew any chance of us getting any free stuff from the players. Yes, he kept saying (as they GLARED at him), "I'll shut up if you give me a ball . . ." But it was entertaining. I've never sat by anyone that said, "No one is leaving here without a high five" before. And, yes. I super sanitized every finger after hitting his "I've been chewing all game" hands. Overall it was an awesome game. The Rock's won (eat it all you Arizona fans--muh ha ha ha!). We ate Rockie dogs. We even found a new exit from Coors field that took half the time. It was a good night.

Nice seats! We had some right behind the Rockies' dugout last year, when the Cubs where in town. My husband grew up north of Chicago-so of course he's got on the replica Cubs jersey and Will had his blue Cubs romper on. Thankfully Lauren was in something neutral and one of the Rockies gave her a ball and then worker/aisle guy came and gave her a baseball card of the guy. Pretty cool. I did feel weird being right by the Rockies with a die-hard Cubs fan. Awkward!

LOL...We just went to our first Diamondbacks game in AZ a couple of weeks ago (they lost that night too...what gives?). We had pretty good seats (had a few fly balls kind of near us). We had a crazy anti-Diamondbacks fan taunting fans at the game we went to; it was pretty entertaining! Glad you scored the good seats and had a good time!
